Can I please, please have a tile that looks just like Linen Travertine, but lighter in colour, with no yellow creams and without any natural variation of colour or pattern? Well, we can all relax as we now have a new Travertino called Flax. This porcelain ‘Linen Travertine-Look’ tile mimics the raw and timeless beauty and the lighter colours of Linen Travertine offering the added benefit of the assurance of consistency in pattern and colour. Flax Travertino, the flawless answer to so many questions.

Flax Travertino porcelain tiles are hard, dense and durable, making them very resistant to staining. What’s more, the colour variation in the tiles hides marks in between cleans. The Grip finish is rated P5 due to the non-slip finish on the tiles, making them ideal for use around swimming pools and outdoor areas.

The surface finish is comfortable on the skin and gentle enough for swimming costumes. The tiles are accurately sized, cut well and are easy to lay. Flax Travertino is ideal for projects requiring a classic, upmarket appearance utilising cool or warm tones.

Maintenance



Maintenance

Minimal maintenance is required for Travertine-look, non-slip porcelain tiles! NO ongoing sealing required. Porcelain’s dense surface absorbs very little moisture, so spills that might seep into another material and cause a stain, can easily be wiped up with a damp cloth or hosed off. Coastal Cream generally only needs to be swept and cleaned with water and a mild detergent regularly.

Porcelain tiles do not need sealing due to having little to no porosity. However, some people choose to seal their porcelain. Please ensure you use an appropriate ‘porcelain specific’ penetrating sealer. We recommend seeking assistance from John Tindale from Stone Clean and Seal for advice before sealing your porcelain.
