Quartzite Tiles and Pavers
Our entire line of Quartzite tiles is no longer offered by The Pool Tile Company.
Please see our ranges of Travertine, Limestone and Sandstone tiles which contain stone tile products that are similar.
We apologise for any inconvenience.
Quartzite is a very hard and dense metamorphic stone. Starting out as sandstone, it changes form due to prolonged exposure to heat and pressure. These properties make it ideal to use as paving material. Dense and durable, it has a non-slip surface, even when wet, that requires minimal maintenance.
Quartzite tiles have a rustic appearance with beautiful natural variations in colour and texture. Our Grey Gum Quartzite paving tiles have more subtle variations with cool tones of eucalypt grey and green.
Please note that Quartzite tiles and pavers have greater variation in thickness and 'squareness' than most other stone pavers and therefore we recommend that they be laid with a 10 to 20mm grout line, note also that tilers may charge more to lay these tiles for this reason.
